Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota has taken one more step toward launching a full-fledged presidential campaign by hiring Republican pollster Ed Goeas.
Goeas, President and CEO of The Tarrance Group was previously working with Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour until the would-be candidate pulled the plug on a 2012 challenge last month.
In an interview with Hotline, Goeas said that while there is no final decision, observers can “look for it.”
Bachmann is expected to formally enter the presidential race in early June with an announcement in her hometown of Waterloo, Iowa.
