British R&B star Joss Stone was the target of a murder plot involving a body bag and swords.

Two British men have been arrested in connection with the conspiracy, the Telegraph reports. Authorities caught the suspects armed with rope, swords, and a body bag outside Stone’s country home in England. Police have yet to identify the men, ages 30 and 33, but revealed that weapons along with a blueprint of Stone’s home were found inside the pair’s vehicle. Authorities originally arrested the men for possession of weapons and later upgraded their charges to conspiracy to murder the singer after further interrogation.

“Police inquiries continue and the men remain in custody. We’re unable to say anymore at this time, but I would like to thank the local residents for reporting the suspicious car. Our officers are currently carrying out reassurance patrols and it’s important to stress that no properties have been burgled and no individuals have been harmed,” authorities said in a statement.

Joss Stone was recently named one of the top five biggest earning female U.K. singers, so the singer’s obvious fortune may have been the motive behind the conspiracy. It’s still unclear whether Stone was home at the time of the attack, but a representative for the star told the Telegraph that she is aware of the arrests and has been in contact with the police.

The singer released a statement this afternoon addressing fans concerns regarding her safety and whereabouts. “I’d like to thank everyone for their concern, but I’m absolutely fine and getting on with life as normal while the police continue with their inquiries,” Stone said.
