Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie aren’t waiting any longer for gay marriage to become legal. Reports say the couple will say “I do” soon.

Apparently, New York’s legalization of gay marriage was enough to satisfy the gay rights advocating couple. They had previously refused to say their own vows until every citizen in America was legally able to pronounce their own.

But maybe the movie-star power couple found blackmail wasn’t a compelling enough reason for lawmakers to legalize gay marriage: The couple appears to have caved to pressure from their six children.

Pitt told USA Today in May that the children had been pushing the couple to take the plunge.

“The kids ask about marriage,” he said to the paper. “It’s meaning more and more to them. So it’s something we’ve got to look at.”

US Weekly confirmed that three sources have told the magazine Jolie and Pitt will wed sometime this summer, possibly in the comfort of their not-so-humble abode.

One source, though, told the magazine that the wedding would be “informal and intimate.”
