And now Walmart has become the latest player to enter the crowded market for renting and streaming movies over the internet – with many available the same day they come out on DVD.
The move comes as market leader Netflix is bracing for a backlash against its recently announced price hikes that could result in its slowest subscriber growth in more than three years.
