In a new web video, the NRSC highlights the one-year anniversary of Timothy Geithner’s op-ed in the New York Times titled “Welcome To Recovery.”
While the secretary of the treasury noted that “recovery from a crisis of this magnitude would not come quickly” and “We have a long way to go to address the fiscal trauma and damage,” the op-ed was nonetheless quite rosy. A year later, the NRSC easily paints a different picture both visually and factually, noting unemployment rates, gas prices, home prices and the federal debt.
