Most people would feel lucky to travel to Italy, but “Jersey Shore” cast member Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has several complaints about the heavenly country.

The 23-year-old, who resided in Florence this summer for the shooting of season four of “Jersey Shore,” recently told The Huffington Post that Italy has room for improvement.

“They need to get stronger tanning beds and have a gym on every block,” she told HuffPo at the launch party for her upcoming cover of YRB Magazine. “And they need more nail salons with Chinese people running them.”

The pint-sized reality star also missed McDonald’s. And tempers flared when Snooki and “Jersey Shore” co-star Deena Nicole Cortese stuck together throughout the show’s filming period.

“We were in a different country,” Polizzi said. “We we definitely out of our element, so we relied on each other so much that we got fed up with each other and just exploded on each other.”

“I was very homesick,” Cortese told HuffPo, but added that too much time together had its drawbacks. “In Italy, we really had to rely on each other, and when you’re with someone all of the time, if they start to breathe funny, you’re going to get annoyed with them.”

Snooki, whose novel “A Shore Thing” was released at the beginning of the year, has a continuation work titled “Gorilla Beach” as well as a biographical how-to book on the way.

“I’m working on my sequel, ‘Gorilla Beach’, and my biography, ‘Confessions of a Guidette’ will be coming out soon in November,” says Polizzi. “It’s going to be about my life but also include some tips for being a guidette.”
