Texas candidate for U.S. Senate Ted Cruz spoke at the “RedState Gathering” Saturday morning. He praised Texas Governor Rick Perry from the stage, and even predicted he would be the next president. But Cruz stopped short of issuing an official endorsement from the podium.
I caught up with Cruz after his speech, and asked him if he would endorse Perry. He did so enthusiastically, saying, Perry is “a true conservative, and he is a fighter in his DNA.”
