That was back in 2007, when Tim Russert was still with us and The Evil George Bush was president. In all fairness, Chris Matthews did repeat this assessment just the other day. He just doesn’t want Rick Perry saying it. But hey, it’s not like Matthews can remember what he’s said from one breath to the next, let alone one day to the next.
