Hollywood actor Vince Vaughn will be appearing at a upcoming libertarian conference, but he won’t be crashing the event or protesting.
Vaughn will introduce GOP presidential candidate and Texas Congressman Ron Paul at the Liberty Political Action Conference this Friday in Reno, Nevada, according to a release by the Paul campaign. (RELATED: TheDC’s Jamie Weinstein: Ron Paul’s foreign policy fallacies)
“Ron and Vince are friends, with Vince not merely interested in Dr. Paul’s philosophy but he also graciously invited Dr. and Mrs. Paul to the premier of his film ‘Couples Retreat,'” said Ron Paul Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton in a statement.
Vaughn endorsed Paul’s 2009 book, “End the Fed,” with the following blurb: “Everyone must read this book—Congressmen and college students, Democrats and Republicans—all Americans.”
