Do conservative or moderate Democrats still exist in Congress? No, say Tim Chapman and Michael Needham of Heritage Action, the political arm of the conservative Heritage Foundation.
“The moderate democrat is almost extinct. They’ve been completely eradicated for the most part,” Chapman told The Daily Caller’s Ginni Thomas in an interview. “People will sometimes lament that fact. We don’t lament that fact. Let’s draw clear, bright lines in Congress.”
“And if there were some conservatives out there in the Democratic party, we’d love to find them, but we haven’t found one yet,” he continued.
