Three long-delayed trade agreements to move to Congress

Three pending free-trade agreements could reach Capitol Hill as early as Monday although no deal has been reached on how to move the accords through Congress.

With the House and Senate in recess most of last week, chatter escalated around Washington about the future of the the trade deals with South Korea, Colombia and Panama with most of the talk focusing on moving the long-delayed agreements when lawmakers return next week.

Yet despite rhetoric from both sides — the White House and Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) — a deal hasn’t been reached that meets the both sides’ requirements.
