The domain name “OccupyPolitico.com” has been registered and links to Politico’s article on sexual allegations against GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain in the late 1990s.

According to WHOIS.com, OccupyPolitico.com was registered under the name of a New Jersey man who provided a phone number that matches a custom home builder in Bayville, N.J. There is no indication that Politico was involved.

Conservative radio host Laura Ingraham called for an “Occupy Politico” web site on Monday.

“They’re occupying Wall Street, we need an OccupyPolitico.com,” said Ingraham after a caller on her show floated the idea of protesting the news site for running the story.

Cain has acknowledged that the sexual harassment complaints occurred but he called them “totally baseless and totally false.”

“I have never sexually harassed anyone,” said Cain on Monday.

Reporter Jonathan Martin, who co-authored the article, said on MSNBC Monday that he did not want to “get into the details” of the allegations referenced in the story. (RELATED: ‘I have in my hand a list of Herman Cain accusers…’)
