HTC announced on its Facebook page today that it will bring Ice Cream Sandwich updates to several of its phones by early 2012.
The early list of phones getting ICS includes the HTC Sensation, HTC Rezound, HTC EVO 3D, HTC Amaze 4G, and HTC EVO Design 4G.
When HTC announced the new Beats Audio-integrated Rezound last week it said the phone would ship “Ice Cream Sandwich ready,” meaning the company was working on an update for the phone for an early 2012 release.
Now we know several more of the company’s top of the line phones will get the update too.
Keep in mind the update isn’t entirely up to HTC. Carriers must put the phones through rigorous testing before it can approve the release.
