Slain Border Patrol agent Brian Terry’s mother and father told the Fox News Channel’s William LaJeunesse on Friday that Attorney General Eric Holder is responsible for Operation Fast and Furious — and they don’t trust anything he’s saying about the gun walking program.

“I know they’re lying,” Kent Terry said about claims from Holder and Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer that they didn’t know about Fast and Furious. “I know they’re just nothing but liars.”

“I’ll bet you if he [Holder] lost his son, he would think different,” Mr. Terry adds.

Josephine Terry, Brian’s mother, said her son Brian might still be alive today if Holder’s Justice Department didn’t let guns walk to Mexico as part of the mishandled Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives program.

“If they would have never let these guns walk, maybe Brian would’ve never been out in that desert,” Josephine Terry said.

Kent Terry thinks Holder’s claim that Fast and Furious didn’t directly lead to the murder of his son is bogus. “I disagree with that,” he said, saying the mismanaged firearms and Brian’s death are linked. “I think they are — Them brand new AK-47s they were carrying.”

Mr. Terry said he’s still having trouble dealing with his son’s loss. “I can’t sleep, thinking about him,” he said. “You know, I love him very much.”
