Billionaire investor Carl Icahn has been agitating for change at Navistar [NAV 38.86 -0.26 (-0.66%) ] and he tells us point blank he sees synergy in a merger.
Specifically, he’d like to see the trucking giant merge with rival Oshkosh [OSK 21.05 0.03 (+0.14%) ].
”I definitely think it would be a good merger. I think there would be a lot of synergy. I own stock in both and I think shareholders of both companies would benefit.”
