Washington Republican Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers moderated a “Women’s CEO Panel on Jobs and the Economy” on Monday, where The Daily Caller spoke to her about the European Union debt crisis.
“My biggest concern is just the lack of transparency and accountability by the administration and what is our role in the European Union bailout” Rodgers said. Having an “honest conversation with the administration has been very difficult.”
“We need to be at least aware of what were committing to. We know that there was a line of credit … a separate line of credit issued in 2009 to the IMF of 108 billion dollars. … They won’t even tell us how much of that has been committed to date. So there needs to be some honesty over what’s going on.”
