There are a few epic events that every gun lover should attend at least once in their lifetime. The SHOT show just finished up in Las Vegas, NV. The SHOT show is an industry show where businesses see the new gear available to the market and it is sponsored by the National Shooting Sports Foundation. There are thousands of exhibitors and nearly 60,000 attendees but it is not open to the general public, you need to be in the business.
One show you should consider attending is the Safari Club International Annual Hunters’ Convention. It’s coming up fast and it will be held February 1-4, 2012 in Las Vegas, NV at the Mandalay Bay Hotel Resort & Casino. The guys at Safari Club tell me there will be, hold on to your hat now because this is big, one million square feet of guns, gear and outfitters.
This show is more than just a gun show. Entertainment includes Trace Adkins, Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, Martina McBride and the Kokomo Show. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the camaraderie of fellow hunters, see some great stuff and enjoy a show with likeminded folks.
