The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are negotiating a contract with Rutgers coach Greg Schiano to fill the team’s head coaching position, according to multiple reports on Thursday.
The sides reportedly met Wednesday for a second time, and The Tampa Tribune reported other candidates were being notified Thursday morning that they were no longer being considered.
The move comes after Oregon head coach Chip Kelly accepted the position over the weekend but changed his mind Monday morning and decided to stay in the college ranks.
