After five months of vocal rest, Adele is returning to the stage at the 2012 Grammy Awards on February 12.
The British singer tweeted on Tuesday: “Ima be, Ima be singing at the Grammys. It’s been so long I started to forget I was a singer! I can’t wait, speak soon xx.”
Adele underwent surgery in November, mtv.com reports, to stop bleeding from a polyp on her vocal cords.
This talented artist who is up for six Grammy nominations is not a stranger to the Grammy stage. She performed “Chasing Pavements” in 2009 while also taking home two awards.
Earlier in January, Adele tweeted her excitement about the upcoming awards show: “Looking forward to @theGRAMMYs on Feb 12! #WeAreMusic.”
