House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi told reporters that she is “very sad” that the Susan G. Komen Foundation had decided to stop donating to Planned Parenthood due to a congressional investigation over the organization allegedly using federal funds for abortion services.

“I know the Susan G. Komen Foundation to be a very effective organization, very professionally run and for a good purpose,” Pelosi said at the Capitol Thursday.

“I think their collaboration with Planned Parenthood, if that is the word, but whatever the connection was, was one that benefited women’s health, and I feel sad that this decision on their part is to the detriment of women’s health. But obviously, women are responding, and Planned Parenthood is getting a tremendous show of support from people out there.”

According to CNN, The Komen Foundation is reversing its decision to stop funding the organization.
