While New York Knicks guard Jeremy Lin is shattering stereotypes about Asian-American athletes, it’s been easy to see how plenty of broadcasters have allowed “Linsanity” to cloud their judgment.
In the most recent episode of “Saturday Night Live,” the cast takes aim at how sports broadcasters have gotten so carried away with Lin’s success that they’ve allowed racial talk about Asian-Americans to slip into broadcasts in a way they’d never allow about other races:
