Happy Pi Day! But is it really happy?
Pi, the infinite mathematical constant that is commonly shortened to 3.14, can be troublesome for those lacking algebraic skills.
That’s nothing to be ashamed of, since the only ones who truly love pi are math nerds who typically go above and beyond with their affection for the little symbol. Some have T-shirts, while others have the first 30 numbers memorized (An extended version is 3.14159265358979323846264338327950288419716939937510582097494459230781640628, for your information.)
Either way, everyone knows March 14 as Pi Day so we decided to celebrate with some mouth-watering pictures of actual pie accompanied by partially lame math jokes.
Enjoy! And don’t forget to wish Albert Einstein a happy 133rd birthday — he would have appreciated pi.
