Do you know what everyone is yelling about? We do: Ron Burgundy officially announced on “Conan” Wednesday night that there will be an “Anchorman” sequel.

Will Ferrell, dressed as the San Diego anchorman featured in the 2004 movie, took the stage wielding a (lip-synched) jazz flute. After telling Conan that he “looked awful,” Ferrell gave viewers some good news:

“I want to announce this to everyone here in the Americas,” he said, “to our friends in Spain, Turkey and the U.K. – including England — that as of 0900 mountain time Paramount Pictures and myself, Ronald Joseph Aaron Burgundy, have come to terms on a sequel to ‘Anchorman.'”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, most of the original cast and co-writer and director Adam McKay are expected to return.

Fellow “Saturday Night Live” alumnus Dana Carvey was Conan O’Brien’s guest later in the show. And faced with Ferrell’s scene-stealing announcement, Carvey responded the only way he could: by announcing that there would be a “Wayne’s World 3.”

No, not really.

The first “Anchorman” featured comedic actors Steve Carell and Paul Rudd, and Christina Applegate. It grossed more than $90 million worldwide.

So, fans, head over to the toilet store to buy your furry tractor because the film is expected to be released in 2013. Stay classy.
