Katie Couric is not the only big name coming to morning TV this week. NBC announced that Sarah Palin will co-host “Today” on Tuesday morning. The announcement says that “[Palin will] reveal a different side of her than you’ve seen before.”

“Good Morning America” announced last week that Couric will step in for Robin Roberts the week of April 2.

Talk of both ladies hosting morning TV brings back memories of Couric’s infamous interview with Palin in 2008, when the vice presidential candidate stumbled over a simple question of what newspapers she read daily.

The gaffe sparked media attention for weeks and left a stain on the McCain-Palin campaign.

Naturally, we can’t help but wonder if there will be some political football being played this Tuesday at Studio 1A this week.
