While being Interviewed for a Japanese TV program, a Foxconn recruiter let it slip that the iPhone 5 comes out in June, reports Apple Insider.
A woman asked the recruiter recruiter how many new employees the company is aims to hire.
“We’re looking for 18,000 employees…for the fifth-generation phone,” he said.
“Is that because demand is high for the ‘iPhone 5?'” she asked.
“That’s right. It will come out in June.”
If true, then there you have it — 18,000 new Foxconn employees to gear up for an iPhone 5 release this June.
