For some, the fascination with Marilyn Monroe doesn’t stop at her curve-hugging dresses. In fact, it goes far underneath them.

At a memorabilia auction in Los Angeles over the weekend, a pair of bloomers that Monroe wore in the 1954 film, “River of No Return” creepily sold for $44,800.

The items were formerly owned by Monroe and came from the estate of Allan “Whitey” Snyder, Monroe’s makeup artist for 15 years, the Associated Press reports.

A tube of mascara and an eyeliner pen owned by the famous actress each sold for $5,625. And unless they are magical, these have lived far beyond the usual beauty product lifespan, seeing as the last time Monroe could have possibly used either product was in 1962. Needless to say, these purchases weren’t so smart, hygienically speaking.

Monroe’s high school diploma went for $32,500. Altogether, the memorabilia sold for a whopping total of $400,000.
