Have no fear, Ryan Gosling is here

Hey, girl. Ryan Gosling doesn’t want you walking into oncoming traffic.

It seems that the hunky actor came to the rescue of one unsuspecting pedestrian.

A lucky British reporter, Laurie Penny, was reportedly rescued by Gosling Tuesday in New York City as she stepped into oncoming traffic.

Penny tweeted: “I literally, LITERALLY just got saved from a car by Ryan Gosling. Literally. That actually just happened,” and “I was crossing 6th avenue in a new pink wig. Not looking the right way because I am from London. Ryan Gosling grabbed me away from a taxi.”

So how can we be sure it was actually the Ryan Gosling? A girl standing next to Penny confirmed his identity and said, “you lucky bitch.” That pretty much sums it up.

This isn’t the first time Gosling has laughed in the face of danger.

Last year, footage of the actor preventing a physical fight on the streets of NYC appeared online. But don’t call Gosling a hero. After the incident, he told MTV News: “I’m embarrassed. I think that guy really was stealing that other guy’s painting, so I should have just kept my nose out of it.”
