Everyone loves a good Twitter rant — especially when it comes from the inner workings of Courtney Love’s mind.
Earlier this week, Love tweeted: “I hear from frannies roommate that @davegrohl hit on frances, and that she was curious, I’m not mad at her, him I am about to shoot, dead.”
Love was referring to her daughter with the late Kurt Cobain, Frances Bean Cobain, who is estranged from her mother, and Dave Grohl, the Foo Fighters frontman and former Nirvana bandmate.
Love continued: “it could be a riumnour [sic] the actual sex, and it’s not beans fault she’s not slutty in any way, at all, HES OBSESSED.”
If those weren’t crazy enough, she continued to say that Grohl was “sexually obsessed” with her late husband Kurt Cobain and said he “had that Romney rape thing about him.”
What does that even mean?
Well, first of all, the “Dave Grohl” she tweeted at was not actually the Dave Grohl, but a German IT student whose account is deactivated.
Secondly, the allegations are completely untrue, according to Love’s daughter and the actual Dave Grohl.
“While I’m generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn,” Frances said. “I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I’m in a monogamous relationship and very happy.”
Frances is engaged to Isaiah Silva of the rock band the Rambles. She added that Twitter should ban her mother.
“Unfortunately Courtney is on another hateful Twitter rant,” Grohl told E!, “These new accusations are upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue.”
