The driver of a 1994 Chevrolet Camaro brandished a handgun and threatened a Dallas mechanic after his car failed state inspections, police say.

The Dallas Morning News reported on the incident Wednesday, and authorities say they are looking for the individual.

The driver’s car reportedly failed a previous state inspection at a mechanic shop in Dallas. When the driver returned Wednesday morning, the mechanic replaced the Camaro’s spark plugs for another fee, but the car failed the inspection again.

The man then reached inside the car and drew out a black semi-automatic handgun and shouted at the mechanic: “Are you going to give me my money back or what?” (SEE ALSO: TheDC’s Guns and Gear section)

The mechanic reportedly fled to his office, where he called 911, as the driver promised to return to the shop. The Camaro, with two passengers, then sped off.
