It looks like Time magazine is really hoping to sell some copies this week.
The latest issue of the once-popular weekly glossy features a relatively jarring photograph of a young, attractive mother breastfeeding her three-year-old son, who stands on chair in order to reach his mother’s breast.
Sure, nearly every women’s magazine and tabloid on newsstands each week features a cleavage shot — and honestly, photos of boobs just aren’t that shocking anymore. But rarely do magazines run a photo of a breast with a large toddler attached to it.
The magazine’s accompanying cover story delves into the topic of “attachment parenting” and asks the question, “Are You Mom Enough?” Time, are you desperate enough?
