Pastor Ed Young of Fellowship Worship, a mega church with locations in the Dallas- Fort Worth and Miami areas, has launched a fashion blog aimed at helping members of the clergy dress for the times.

Young described the motive behind PastorFashion.com in a February blog post: “Pastors aren’t typically known for their fashion. Most people don’t think of the runway leading up to the pulpit. But why not?! Why can’t the men and women of God set the standard for the rest of the world in fashion as well as faith?”

Blog posts with names such as “2 Legit for Fit: 10 Tips for the Faithful,” “Skinny Jeans and Testosterone,” and “Great Fashion Takes Swag” cover topics ranging from style tips to rules for getting the right fit.

“If people take a step and think about it they would see it. God created color, God created design. He created things that look nice and we’re simply doing what he wants us to do. Being a follower of Christ should be cool because God is cool, God is hip. We should live that out,” Young told ABC News.

This isn’t the first time Young has done something out of pastor character. In February, he published “Sexperiment,” a book which challenges married couples to have sex for seven days straight. Young writes that failing to sexually satisfy one’s spouse is a sin.

“The sin of depriving your spouse of his or her sexual needs puts a strain on your fellowship with the Lord. The marriage relationship is a reflection of the relationship that Christ has with the church,” Young writes in the book. “Because of this unique correlation, when your marriage relationship is strained, your relationship with Christ is also negatively affected.”
