Congratulations to S.E. Cupp! (I think?)

Clearly, MSNBC is desperate for somebody, anybody to start watching. Why else debut a show co-hosted by a… give me a moment here… a conservative??

Brian Stelter reports:

MSNBC’s plan for a new 3 p.m. program is illustrative of a cable news trend. It’s an ensemble show with a cast of four fresh-faced political pundits.

The hourlong show, given the name “The Cycle,” will start on Monday. It will be hosted by Touré, Krystal Ball, S.E. Cupp and Steve Kornacki, all of whom are contributors to MSNBC, a progressive-leaning cable news outlet. The network confirmed the lineup of hosts on Thursday, after reports by Politico and other news outlets.

So basically, it’s The Five Minus One. Or perhaps Three Churls, One Cupp. FNC has been graced with Bob Beckel, and in exchange, MSNBC is getting S.E. Cupp. Conservatives really are more generous than liberals!

Anybody want to place bets on how many episodes it’ll take before Touré calls Cupp a racist? “Within the first 10 minutes” is an acceptable guess.

P.S. Scarborough? That’s an asterisk, at best.
