Former President Bill Clinton has been collecting a not-so-small fortune giving speeches since he left office.

Clinton earned $13.4 million delivering speeches in the last year alone, the New York Post reports.

2011 was a personal best for the former president; he gave 54 speeches and saw a 25 percent bump in his paycheck from 2010, according to financial disclosure forms filed by his wife, Secretary of State Hilary Clinton.

Clinton is the only former president who must disclose his annual speaking income because his wife is a member of the Obama cabinet.

In November Clinton landed his biggest check to date, earning $750,000 for a single speech in Hong Kong to Swedish telecoms giant Ericsson.

Over the last ten years, Clinton has delivered 471 speeches in 52 countries and racked up a total $51 million. As an in-demand speaker, Clinton averages $189,000 for each appearance.
