Los Angeles Lakers’ guard Kobe Bryant thinks the current U.S. men’s basketball Olympic team is better than the so-called “Dream Team” that famously competed in the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona.

In an interview with the superstar, Jimmy Smith of the Times-Piccayune asked, “How do you guys think you’d do against [the Dream Team] with the team you have right now?”

“They obviously have a lot more size than we do,” Bryant responded. “Some of the weak players were also a lot older, kind of at the end of their career, whereas we have a bunch of young race horses.”

Bryant gives the Dream Team their fair dues, but when it comes to beating the legends, he smirks, saysing his team “could pull it off.”

According to a Bleacher Report poll, 68.8 percent of 9,863 voters think the 1992 Dream Team would beat the 2012 Olympic team.
