Dr. Larry P. Arnn is president of Michigan’s Hillsdale College, a haven for those who love America’s founding documents, Western civilization and limited government.

The college, which refuses all federal funding and requires each freshman to take a semester long class on the U.S. Constitution, opened its Washington-based Kirby Center to help promote constitutional principles in the D.C. area, as well as help their undergraduate students interface with policymakers.

The Daily Caller’s Ginni Thomas sat down recently with Arnn, who has served as Hillsdale president for the last 12 years, to discuss the state of the country, its politics, what the founders would think of our politics and what he hears as he travels around the nation.
