TAMPA, Fla. – As the Republican National Convention kicks into gear, one Florida Republican is focused on the Democratic National Committee, or rather, its chairwoman, whose seat she is hoping to take.

Karen Harrington is challenging Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the mouthpiece for the Democratic Party.

In an interview with The Daily Caller, Harrington criticized Wasserman Schultz for supporting “Obama’s failed, un-American policies,” and for always being on the road campaigning for Obama, instead of campaigning in her own district.

“I don’t worry too much about my opponent,” Harrington said. “She’s able to implode herself on many of the issues.”
