In a song leaked earlier this week, Kanye West raps the lyric “Mitt Romney don’t pay no tax,” The Wall Street Journal reported Friday.
The song, titled “To The World,” features the lyrics “I’m just trying to protect my stacks / Mitt Romney don’t pay no tax.”
Romney’s tax returns for 2010 and 2011 show that he did pay federal income taxes — rates of 15.3 percent last year and 13.9 percent in 2010.
This is not the first time West has criticized a Republican party leader. In 2005 he told American audiences on live TV that George Bush didn’t care about black people.
It’s unclear whether West endorses Obama, though: The president has gone on record calling West a jackass — twice.
