Call it poetic justice.

The hits just keep on coming for Lindsay Lohan, who was arrested just two days after she complained that Amanda Bynes had not been thrown in jail following several driving mishaps. The original havoc-wreaker was booked in New York City for an alleged hit and run accident.

Early Wednesday night, Lohan was trying to leave a club in the Meatpacking District in a Porsche Cayenne when she struck the leg of a 34-year-old man with her car, the New York Post reports.

The actress exchanged words with the unnamed pedestrian, then went inside the Dream hotel. She was arrested there at 2:30 a.m. for fleeing the scene of an accident and causing injury. The man was taken to Bellevue hospital, but did not appear to be seriously injured and is probably milking this for more than it’s worth.

According to TMZ, this arrest could violate the terms of Lohan’s probation for the 2011 Los Angeles jewelry theft case to which she pled no contest.

Just a day before the accident, Dr. Phil aired a lengthy interview with the actress’ mother, Dina Lohan, who is either insane or was on a myriad of controlled substances. During the interview, the pop psychiatrist rattled off a long list of her daughter’s run-ins with the law.

Dina countered, “I know but, we’re in LA, so if she was living in New York, five of them would be obsolete…I understand that demise. But…you’re under a microscope here. In New York it’s not like that.” Au contraire, Dina. Au contraire.
