You might have seen this controversial new ad produced by the Tea Party Victory Fund, a group chaired by former Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell.

Predictably, some on the left are calling the video racist (despite the fact that the group running the ad is chaired by the first African-American in history to be a major party nominee for Ohio’s governor.)

Reached for comment, Blackwell stood behind the ad, insisting it is representative of Obama’s larger political worldview.

“I’ve written a book on what Obama is doing to fundamentally transform this country,” Blackwell averred. “And this 30 second rant demonstrates the dependency that he and his plans are fostering.”

Blackwell also insisted the ad “will play just as well in African-American communities as it will in any community.”
