Tagg Romney, the oldest son of presidential candidate Mitt Romney, said on a North Carolina radio station this morning that he wanted to jump out of his seat and rush to the debate stage to “take a swing” at President Obama for calling his father a liar during the second presidential debate Tuesday night.
“But you know you can’t do that because, well, first there’s a lot of secret service between you and him, but also because it’s the nature of the process,” the 42-year-old said to WPTF-AM’s Bill LuMaye. “They’re going to try to do everything they can do to try to make my dad into someone he’s not.”
