If you can’t get enough of Robert Downey Jr. or Marvel superhero movies, here’s the trailer for “Iron Man 3.”
The trailer starts with a scene of a battered Tony Stark in his Iron Man suit falling onto the ground, face bloodied and chest light flickering.
Later, the trailer flashes various scenes that give tantalizing glimpses of what may happen in the coming movie: Pepper Potts restrained; Stark’s suits exploding one-by-one; helicopters launching missiles and destroying Stark’s home.
Ben Kingsley will play the super-villain, The Mandarin. In a voiceover, Mandarin says, “Some people call me a terrorist. I consider myself a teacher. Lesson number one: Heroes. There is no such thing.”
“Iron Man 3″will open in U.S. theaters on May 3, 2013.
