Disney released a full trailer for the next year’s star-studded, CGI-packed film “Oz: The Great and Powerful.”
The film stars James Franco as Oscar Diggs, a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics who is swept away to the land of Oz, where he meets Theodora, played by Mila Kunis, Evanora played by Rachel Weisz and Glinda, played by Michelle Williams, a trio of witches who are not convinced that he is the great wizard Oz has been expecting.
Oscar must use illusion, ingenuity and even a bit of magic to determine who is good and evil in the unfamiliar land of Oz before it’s too late. The trials Oscar faces transform him into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz, the character played by Frank Morgan in the 1939 film “The Wizard of Oz “starring Judy Garland.
