The second trailer for Baz Luhrmann’s “The Great Gatsby” has more Leonardo DiCaprio as Jay Gatsby, more suspense and more from Kanye West and Jay-Z’s “Watch the Throne” album.
Gatsby takes Nick (Tobey Maguire) on a wild ride, finds Daisy (Carey Mulligan) all with “No Church in the Wild” pumping in the background all shot with the typical Luhrmann touch of vibrant, exaggerated colors.
(We’ll admit, we were a little skeptical after the first trailer came out, but we’re totally on board.)
The film was originally set for release on Christmas Day, but was pushed back to May 10. Now you have plenty of time to dust off your copy of the book from 10th grade English and re-read it.
