White House won’t deny $500,000 purchases access to President Obama [VIDEO]

On Monday, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney relied on a prepared statement and a series of verbal feints to avoid questions about news that top donors to the president’s community organizing group can purchase access to the president for $500,000.

Speaking at the daily White House press briefing, Carney referred questions about the practice — revealed in a weekend New York Times report — to the group, Organizing for Action.
