Nuggets center JaVale McGee has been a walking highlight reel since entering the NBA.
Sometimes he wins (huge dunks) and sometimes he loses (having segments of ESPN’s SportsCenter and TNT’s Inside the NBA dedicated to his seemingly endless list of in-game bloopers).
Last night McGee churned out one of the good highlights as he skied for a block and opted, instead of swatting it out of the air, to merely catch it.
The seven-footer with arms for days timed 76ers forward Arnett Moultrie’s bid for a bucket perfectly and caught the offering mid-flight.
McGee is currently eighth in the NBA with 1.97 blocks per game despite playing under 20 minutes per contest.
