In part three of his interview with The Daily Caller’s Ginni Thomas, commentator and political satirist Evan Sayet recalls how he saw the liberal mindset at work in a screening of Steven Spielberg’s film “Munich.” No one disputes that it was a beautifully shot film, or that the actors portraying there roles were not good, he says, but all the conservatives on the panel hated the film and all the liberals loved it.
Evan argues that the reason for this is because rather than be objective, the film sought to reframe the narrative of the Palestinian terrorist attacks on the Israeli Olympics team, and the Israeli revenge.
Even though there was agreement that “Munich” was “ahistorical,” Sayet said, “It didn’t bother the left because all the lies went to serve one purpose: It made the Palestinians look just a little more victimized, the Jews look a little more like they deserved it,” he charges, “so the lies were good because they served the bigger truth… and unfortunately, lying on behalf of evil the left applauds.”
