Newspaper editor: Erosion of free speech ‘prerequisite of totalitarianism’ [VIDEO]

In part four of his exclusive interview with The Daily Caller, Lars Hedegaard, the editor of the Swedish weekly newspaper Dispatch International who narrowly escaped an assassin’s bullet, explained why free speech is so important.

“It’s [the erosion of free speech] the prerequisite of totalitarianism,” Hedegaard said. “That’s the first thing a dictator will do. He will scare or assassinate people who criticize him.”
