Poor, poor, poor Josh Smith and Ivan Johnson of the Atlanta Hawks.
Not only did they get blown out by the Indiana Pacers last night, but they also ended up on the wrong end of two highlight dunks by Pacers guard Gerald Green and center Roy Hibbert.
In the first quarter, Roy Hibbert caught a pass and went immediately into dunk mode, raising the ball high and throwing down over would-be charge-taker Ivan Johnson who ended up crumpled on the floor below the towering Hibbert.
Even for a seven-footer, the dunk was impressive.
Not to be outdone, former Slam Dunk Champion Gerald Green took to the skies in the second quarter, going up for a dunk over shot-blocking specialist Josh Smith.
Spoiler Alert: Smith does not get to show off his block skills on this attempt.
Funny thing is, this probably doesn’t even sniff Green’s all-time Top 100 Dunks list with the high-flying exploits he usually graces fans with.
