Tony Parker’s stat line from yesterday’s blowout victory over the Memphis Grizzlies read 20 points and nine assists, which is good but pretty unspectacular.
However, when watching exactly how often the Spurs’ star point guard dismantled the usually defensively stout Grizzlies, his game looks far more impressive.
Parker weaved his way through arguably the best defensive team in the NBA to drive to the basket, hit his patented mid-range jumper, and found teammates that were wide open in the wake of his distracting penetration into the heart of Memphis’ defense.
