Fox News Channel blew away the competition during breaking news coverage of Monday’s tragic tornado outbreak that devastated the city of Moore, Okla.

FNC was the number one outlet in total viewers in both primetime and total day according to Nielsen, beating CNN and MSNBC combined in total day.

Fox News even beat The Weather Channel, which has often been the go-to network during severe weather, in total viewers for all hours (4 p.m.-6 p.m., 6 p.m.-8 p.m. and 8 p.m.-11 p.m.) following the aftermath of the storm.

CNN, however, scored a lone victory by topping Fox News in the coveted 25-54 demographic in primetime.
